Gary Faigin teaches several specialized drawing and painting weekend and week-long workshops each year at the Gage facility on Capitol Hill in Seattle, and at remote locations around the Northwest. With workshops focused on drawing the head, portrait painting, still life painting, and landscape painting in oil, Faigin offers the beginning to intermediate artist strategies for developing a pictorial idea, building an image and maximizing their tools and media to best effect. In every workshop, Faigin presents daily lectures and demonstrations, delivering art training that is accessible to art students at all levels of expertise.
